Leonard’s Moving Services is an owner-run outfit based right here in Santa Fe. Owner Leonard Garduno started it in 2009 with one truck, a couple of movers, and a single rule that still runs the place: quote a fair price, work every job with his own people instead of a broker or a day-labor pickup, and treat each load like it belongs to him.
Years on, Leonard runs a few well-kept trucks and a trained crew who know this town cold, the thick adobe doorways and low vigas in the old Eastside homes, the dirt lanes with nowhere for a big truck to sit, the saltillo and brick floors that need runners, and the thin high-desert air that wears a rushed crew out. That kind of local know-how is what makes a long day go easy.
