Commercial Moving in Santa Fe
Free, No-Obligation Estimate
Offices, galleries, and shops moved on nights and weekends, so your team comes back to a room that is ready to go. One crew, one written plan, and the owner on site.
Commercial Moving in Santa Fe
Leonard’s Moving Services relocates Santa Fe businesses, offices, galleries, and storefronts on a schedule built around your downtime instead of ours. Leonard labels everything by area, lays down floor and wall protection, and sequences the move so your doors reopen exactly when they should.
What sets it apart
A commercial move lives or dies on the plan. We walk both spaces, map the access and any dock or elevator window, protect the floors and doorways, and run the labor after hours so you open the next business day as though nothing moved. Galleries get the same careful padding as a private art collection.
What we relocate
- Desks, cubicles, and conference rooms
- Gallery art, displays, and pedestals
- Files, records, and secure documents
- Retail fixtures, stock, and shelving
How we hold downtime down
- After-hours and weekend scheduling
- Color-coded labeling by area
- Floors, doorways, and access handled
- The owner from the plan to the punch list
Three Steps to Moving Day
From the first hello to the last box carried in the door and set in the right room.
Tell Us About the Move
Give Leonard the shape of the move by phone, on a quick video call, or straight through the form. What comes back is a fair hourly rate or a flat quote in writing, not a soft number that swells once the truck is loaded.
Lock In Your Date
Claim your day and we set the right crew and truck, then sort the parking on a narrow Eastside lane, the HOA gate pass, or the loading window your building asks for.
We Carry the Load
Leonard runs the whole job himself, wrap, load, drive, and place, and we plan the run around St. Francis Drive, Cerrillos Road, and I-25 so the day stays on time.
What’s in Every Commercial Moving Job
Book a commercial moving job with Leonard’s Moving Services and the basics come standard, with no surprise upcharges and no fine-print catches:
- A dedicated owner-led crew
- Labeling and floor-plan placement
- Floors, doorways, and access handled
- Nights and weekends available
Why Santa Fe Trusts Leonard’s Moving Services
- Licensed and insured to move household goods across New Mexico
- The owner works every job, never a day-labor pickup off an app
- A fair hourly rate or a flat quote in writing, no surprises at the curb
- At home in adobe compounds, Eastside dirt lanes, and Canyon Road galleries
- Used to the high-desert altitude, viga ceilings, and saltillo-tile floors
- 4.9 / 5 from 63 Santa Fe-area neighbors
Your Move, Fully Covered
Taken care of from the first blanket we throw down to the last box set in the far room.
Fully Insured
Every job carries cargo and liability coverage, and we go over your valuation choices with you before you sign a single form.
Adobe-Ready
Narrow adobe doorways, Eastside dirt lanes with no driveway, kiva corners, and saltillo floors, we scout the carry and lay down protection so a historic-district move never gets stuck at the gate.
Padded & Wrapped
Every piece is blanketed, shrink-wrapped, and strapped down tight. If a piece takes a knock, we call it out on the spot and put it right.
Done Right
An honest price, an owner who cares about the work, and nobody leaves until every last piece sits where you want it.

Questions We Hear a Lot
Can you move us outside our normal business hours?
Almost always. We book most office and gallery jobs on evenings or weekends, so your staff comes back to a space that is already set up. Leonard maps the move room by room, protects floors and doorways, and sorts any building or dock access well ahead.
What will my move cost?
Two things drive it: the size of the load and how easy the access is. A truck with two movers opens at $110/hr, and you get a written estimate in hand before the first box moves. Prefer a set number? Ask Leonard for a flat quote and the figure you agree on is what you pay. When the move crosses state lines, we price it on weight and distance instead.
There is no driveway and the lane is tight. Is that a problem?
Not at all, and it is normal downtown and on the Eastside. Give us the address when you book and we figure out where the truck can sit, how far the carry runs, and whether we shuttle with a smaller vehicle. Our crew shows up expecting a narrow lane and a longer walk, not a wide suburban driveway.
Do you move out of state?
We do, and your load stays with the same crew from pickup to drop-off. It is never brokered out or shuffled into a stranger’s trailer at a depot, and you get a delivery window you can actually plan around. We move plenty of folks in and out of New Mexico.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Leonard’s Moving Services is a licensed, insured New Mexico mover, and Leonard runs the job with his own crew from start to finish, with no broker in the middle taking a cut. Happy to share the coverage details, just ask, and we will go over your valuation choices before anything is final.
Can I move or cancel my date?
Of course. Reschedule or cancel with two days’ notice or more and your full deposit comes back. Every condition is written into your booking in plain words, so nothing is left to guesswork.
